RENTON, Wash. – Sounders FC encourages fans attending Friday's match versus the Real Salt Lake to plan ahead and arrive well in advance of kickoff to ensure smooth access into the stadium as handheld metal detectors will be utilized at all gates. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and first kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. More than 52,000 tickets have been distributed for the match.

March to the Match activities begin at 5:15 p.m. at Occidental Park in Pioneer Square. Sound Wave and Ivan and Alyosha will perform. Ivan and Alyosha, a local band which borrows its name from a pair of characters from Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, just returned from a nationwide tour with Brandi Carlile, including performances at the following music festivals: SXSW, Doe Bay and Bumbershoot.
Fans are invited to check-out the new Brougham Beer Hall, located on the main concourse at the southwest corner of the stadium, to take advantage of the $5 domestic beers and $6 craft pints promotion. The promotion is also available at all concession stands from the time gates open until 30 minutes before kickoff.
