Sounders FC Receives $150,000 in General Allocation Money

SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that it has acquired $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $75,000 in 2024 GAM from the LA Galaxy in exchange for a 2023 International Roster Slot. The move brings Seattle’s number of 2023 International Roster Slots to four as the team continues its 2023 MLS campaign.

Sounders FC now has two open International Roster Slots, with two current international players on the roster: Léo Chú and Yeimar Gómez Andrade.

After a 0-0 home draw with Los Angeles FC on Saturday, Seattle (2-1-1, 7 points) hits the road to take on Sporting Kansas City (0-2-2, 2 points) on Saturday, March 25 at Children’s Mercy Park (5:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).

TRANSACTION: Sounders FC acquires $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $75,000 in 2024 GAM from LA Galaxy in exchange for a 2023 International Roster Slot on March 21, 2023.
