SEATTLE, WASH. – On Sunday, July 9, media are invited to GARAGE in Capitol Hill as Sounders FC hosts its inaugural Strikes with Sounders bowling event benefiting RAVE Foundation, the club’s charitable arm.
In partnership with VIP sponsor Delta Air Lines, the club is offering pre-registered fans in attendance the chance to bowl and spend time with the entire available Sounders FC roster and coaching staff. Bowling teams are set to compete for trophies and bragging rights in a variety of categories, while fans also have the opportunity to mingle with players off the lanes, and take part in other activities like giant Jenga, interactive art and a photo booth.
The event raises awareness and funds for RAVE Foundation, as it works to make investments in the Puget Sound region’s most vulnerable communities, using soccer as a guide by building fields for free play, providing soccer clinics, camps and balls to underserved children and creating unique programs to empower and inspire youth.
