Sunday's match at Portland pushed back to 7:00 p.m. PT

SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that its road match against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, August 15 has been moved back to 7:00 p.m. PT (FS1, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM) due to heat considerations in the Portland area. Sunday’s nationally televised fixture was previously scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PT.

Following a 3-0 win over Tigres UANL on Tuesday evening in the quarterfinals of the 2021 Leagues Cup, Sounders FC (9-3-6, 33 points) prepares for a road clash with its Cascadia rival Portland (7-8-2, 17 points) on Sunday evening. Seattle then travels to play FC Dallas on August 18 and Columbus Crew SC on August 21.
