FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: LWDWW, Toronto: LWWLW

PREVIOUS MEETING: Due to scheduling restrictions because of COVID-19, this is the first meeting between the two sides since the Sounders defeated Toronto 3-1 in MLS Cup 2019 at Lumen Field. Kelvin Leerdam, VĂctor RodrĂguez and RaĂºl RuidĂaz scored to help the Rave Green lift their second MLS Cup trophy and first at Lumen Field.

MORRIS KEEPS COOKING: Although the Sounders fell 2-1 to CF Montréal over the weekend, Sounders forward Jordan Morris added another tally to bring his club total to 50 across all competitions. Morris now has four goals and an assist in his last six matches for the Sounders and United States Men's National Team.

CRISTIAN THE PROVIDER: Morris’ goal last weekend was set up by Cristian Roldan, who now has five on the MLS season to go along with another five in Concacaf Champions League play. He’s on pace to break his MLS single-season record of nine he set in 2018.

SOUNDERS DOMINANCE: The Sounders have historically owned the series between the two clubs, holding an 11-4-2 record in 17 meetings. Seattle has won three straight contests with TFC, which hasn’t beaten the Sounders since 2017 MLS Cup.
