The English-born 28-year-old has plenty of attacking acumen, highlighted by his worldie of a volley against Germany last week, and is one of the names written in pen in Pochettino’s Starting XI.
- Weston McKennie, M: Plying his trade for Pulisic’s rivals Juventus in Serie A, McKennie is the engine in the United States’ midfield. The 27-year-old FC Dallas Academy product has had a standout international career so far, earning 66 caps and scoring 12 goals.
- Bonus: Cristian Roldan, M: Fans of the local Seattle Sounders will be in for a treat when their Iron Man returns to Lumen Field representing the United States in his second World Cup. Once on the outside of the USMNT radar, Roldan has reemerged onto the scene under Pochettino and has totaled 47 career caps.
