The Seattle Sounders are visiting the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday in their third and final meeting of the regular season. Here is everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. PT at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS: Seattle and Vancouver played to a 1-1 draw at Lumen Field on May 18 after the Whitecaps defeated the Sounders 2-0 on April 20 at BC Place.

CASCADIA CUP IMPLICATIONS: The 2024 Cascadia Cup is in play for all three teams in Seattle, Vancouver and Portland. The Whitecaps lead with eight points (2-1-2), the Timbers are second with seven (2-2-1) and the Sounders are third with four (1-2-1). Gauld missed Vancouver’s 1-1 draw against Portland over the weekend after a tough Canadian Championship final midweek, but the ‘Caps will need their Scottish Designated Player in the mix if they want to grab three points on Wednesday. He has nine goals and 15 assists, the latter of which is tied for third in the league.
