PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2016 (Seattle): Ockford was loaned to the New York Cosmos of the NASL on March 1.

2015 (Seattle): Ockford made his MLS debut with a start in a 1-0 loss at the Philadelphia Union (June 24). He made his First Team debut in a 2-2 draw against Club Tijuana in an international friendly (March 24). The centerback started and played 81 minutes in a 2-1 win against CD Olimpia in the Group Stage of the 2015-2016 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League (August 19).

2014 (Seattle/New York Cosmos): After being selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, Ockford went on loan to the New York Cosmos of the NASL. For the Cosmos, Ockford scored two goals on 10 appearances in the regular season, and added an additional goal in three matches during the U.S. Open Cup.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ockford has extensive experience with the U.S. Youth National Team. He traveled with the U-18 squad to Portugal, Argentina and Israel and was included in the U-20 player pool. On April 27, 2010 he scored for the U-18 team against the Chivas USA Reserves.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

In 2013, Ockford started all 17 appearances with two goals in lone season at Louisville. He helped the team win the inaugural American Athletic Conference title and was named AAC Defender of the Year. Ockford started all 17 games with two goals in his junior season at Mount St. Mary’s. He ranked fourth on the team with four points, and led the team with 33 shots. Ockford started 16 games as a sophomore with three goals and three assists. He scored the game-winner for his first collegiate goal in a 2-1 win against Rider. He recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against Bryant, and scored the game-winner in a 2-1 victory against Quinnipiac. As a freshman, Ockford started 16 of his 17 appearances. He recorded one assist and had 19 shots.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Ockford was a three-year letter winner for Pennsbury HS. He served as team captain in his senior year, and was named to the Courier Times Golden Team and also earned a spot on the all-league first team in 2009. He helped his team to the SOL Championship in 2009. PERSONAL The son of Peggy and Jack Ockford, Jimmy has one brother, who played soccer at Mount St. Mary’s. Ockford majored in psychology.
